Amy K. Rappa is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Hazelton, WV in 2012 with her husband and daughter. After practicing yoga for several years, Amy pursued and received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in August of 2014 from the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. Helping others to increase their flexibility, gain strength and benefit from the healing powers of yoga is a top priority in her teaching practice. Amy is a student of the Hatha and Iyengar Yoga traditions, although her classes include elements of Vinyasa and Ashtanga style yoga. She also enjoys practicing yoga outdoors in nature, hiking and gardening with her 3 year old daughter, River. |
